Footballpedia.net - Manchester United is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world. Therefore, it is not easy to need great sacrifices and high dedication to achieve success in the club.

Many players get the chance to wear Manchester United uniforms, but not all of them can succeed and shine. Players who fail to shine there should certainly leave the club to continue their career elsewhere.

No success at OId Trafford does not mean the player has poor quality. Here are five examples of players who performed superbly at other clubs after failing at Manchester United.

1. Dion Dublin

After Manchester United failed to bring Alan Shearer in the summer of 1992, Sir Alex Ferguson switched to bring it to Dublin to Old Trafford. He is also expected to contribute greatly to Manchester United.

Unfortunately, Dublin even suffered a broken leg injury in his second match for Manchester United. As he recovered from injury, Ferguson had already brought in Eric Cantona, leaving Dublin out of the first team and then on sale to Coventry City in September 1994.

The move made Dublin rise and he was able to win the Golden Boot in the 1997/1998 season with a total of 18 goals. His appearance at Coventry put Dublin on the England team, and also moved with a big transfer to Aston Villa.

2. Danny Drinkwater

Had predicted will experience the heyday with Manchester United. Danny Drinkwater is more often lent to several clubs to give him more experience.

After undergoing a loan period with four clubs, Manchester United eventually sold it to Leicester City in January 2012. The move soon paid off because Drinkwater became a key player for The Foxes during their promotional season in 2013/2014.

Drinkwater then was nominated for the best player of the Championship Division. Not until there, Drinkwater also became the star of Leicester Premier League championship 2015/2016.

3. Wilfried Zaha

In January 2013, Sir Alex Ferguson recruited Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace. However, the player remained at Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

Unfortunately, when Zaha arrived at Manchester United, Ferguson retired and was replaced by David Moyes. Zaha was never given a chance at his new club and a poor relationship with Moyes made him loaned to Cardiff City in January 2014.

After the season ended, Zaha sent back to Selhurst Park on loan for the season 2014/2015 and then moved permanently in February 2015. Since then Zaha became one of the major players Crystal Palace and also won the best player in the club's last two seasons.

4. Angel Di Maria

The former Real Madrid star started his career at Manchester United pretty well. He scored his first goal and earned his Man of the Match title in a game against QPR in September. In October he also elected to be the best player of the monthly MU.

As time goes by, Di Maria's appearance declines because Louis van Gaal does not seem to be able to decide the right position for Di Maria. Di Maria ended the season with just four goals in 32 matches and then sold to PSG in the summer of 2015.

The move to Paris Saint Germain seems to be able to revive Di Maria's career. Throughout the 2015/16 season, Di Maria set a new assist record in Ligue 1 with 18 times and his impressive performance continued into the season 2016/17 , with 14 goals and 8 assists in all competitions.

5. Michael Keane

Some people would not have thought if Michael Keane is a failing player at Manchester United. However, he has just recruited Everton for 25 million pounds and became one of the most expensive defenders in England.

However, when playing at Old Trafford is very different. Keane failed to be MU's main choice and was loaned to Burnley in January 2015 before his status became permanent at the end of the season.

Keane then developed into a superb player with Burnley to get his first British national team call. Manchester United are reportedly keen to recruit Keane in the summer but the players prefer to move to Everton.
