According to the transfer documents recently leaked by Football Leaks, the champions of the Premier League agreed to borrow the player free of charge from AS Monaco, with a permanent purchase option at the end of the season.
Falcao himself is struggling to find his form in the Blues this season, but the West London club still have time until April 29 to confirm the club's Ligue 1 - the decision to buy the bomber or return to Monaco.
One clause in Falcao transfer document reads: "By firmly agreed that there will be no fee charged to Chelsea by AS Monaco for temporary transfer and registration of the player."
Falcao recorded already made 11 appearances for Chelsea this season, but he could only make one goal.
