Footballpedia.net - Manchester City coach, Josep Guardiola, was rumored to be ready and willing to return to Barcelona.

Previously, Guardiola has been shut her chance to return to the Catalan, after recently manager Luis Enrique said he would quit the team after his contract expires in the summer.

However, recent reports circulating in Spain say that Guardiola did not completely shut down the chance to handle Barcelona in the future.

According to him, the man who also once worked Bayern Munich was ready to return to his former club, if needed, but not to be the first team manager.

Instead, Guardiola wants to work with the young players and to handle the existing team at La Masia.

"Maybe I should finish my career where I started, but this will be suspected by many people, all depends on how my own later," Guardiola said recently.

"In the next few years I will continue to train, but there are other possibilities that we did not know was going to happen."

City are now preparing to face Stoke City in the Premier League match this midweek.
