Soccercorner.org - Manchester City announced that they had officially hook midfielder Fabian Delph from Aston Villa on Friday (17/07).

Delph became the target City since they lost James Milner last summer. However, the business of The Citizen pursuing the 25 years it almost vanished when the weekend Delph reaffirmed its commitment to remain at Villa.

However, this week Delph caught doing medical tests with The Citizen. He even signed a contract directly with the club Manuel Pellegrini.

"Bradford-born midfielder, 25 years ago it has completed a medical on Friday and will soon fly to Australia this weekend to join his new teammates in pre-season training session. He will wear jersey number 18 in the City." Official statement on the official website of The Citizen.

Reportedly, the City bought Delph with cost 8 million Pounds only. He is contracted for five years at Ettihad Stadium.
