Soccercorner.org - Arsenal striker Theo Walcott has reportedly reached an agreement with the club to extend his tenure.
Striker 26 year old contract will expire in June 2016. Under these conditions, Arsenal only had two choices, to extend his contract now or remove the player. Because if the contract was not renewed, Walcott would be the status of free transfer in January next.
As ever, Walcott contract extension with Arsenal always lasted a lot. If in the previous seasons he has always asked for a raise significant, Walcott is now asking for guarantees entered into a major player for the Gunners.
According to a report released by the London-based daily, Mirror, Asenal and Walcott have agreed to extend the collaboration to the next four years.
Walcott agrees with the proposal to offer Arsenal contract. With the duration of the contract until the next 2019, Walcott will get a salary of 100 thousand pounds per week.
