Nicolas Anelka Became Player And Coach in Mumbai City FC

Long reportedly inaudible, Nicolas Anelka finally joined the Club of Indian Super League, Mumbai City FC as player coach at once.

Former Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool replaced Peter Reid's position in the locker room, while he also underwent a second year along the Mumbai City.

"I would like to thank the staff of the City of Mumbai over the opportunity to be the coach of the Club," he said.

"We are all very excited for the new season. I personally strongly wants this new role and want to display a competitive team on the field, "he said.

Anelka himself had previously been one of the coaching staff when he played at Shanghai Shenhua in 2012.
